We are saddened to hear the news of Christian artist, Thomas Kinkade's death yesterday, who died of natural causes at the age of 54. He had blessed many the world over with his natural talent in his artwork of paintings of beautiful cottages, gardens, churches, and more.
He was known to be the most collected living artist with more than 10 million homes sharing his pieces and also earned the title "painter of light", bringing in over $100 million a year in sales. Now he joins his maker in Heaven--the Creator of Light. May his artwork (featured everywhere you can think of from t-shirts, cups, calendars, puzzles, prints, blankets, plates, drawing instruction DVD's and books) continue to bless this generation and many more to come. Our heartfelt prayers for comfort and peace go out to his wife and children.
Rest in peace, Thomas Kinkade.
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.--Romans 8:38-9
